It is shortened as simply Merubura (?????). Based on Type-Moon's visual novel game, Tsukihime, it later spawned an arcade version, titled Act Cadenza, that was developed by Ecole Software and has also been ported to the PlayStation 2. Satsuki Yumizuka, Sion Eltnam Altasia and Riesbyfe Stridberg are outcasts of society, living in the alley, hidden from public eyes. Satsuki and Sion are both vampires and together with Ries, they have been living aimlessly after the events of Tatari.
