In the cat-filled town of Miyakecho, there is an urban legend that says cats sometimes put curses on humans. Ichika and Maki were once childhood friends until a certain incident led them to stop talking to each other. When Maki rushes in to save a mysterious white cat from an oncoming truck, however, she somehow finds herself under the cat\'s curse with Ichika being the only one she can turn to for help.
In this world, 16-year-olds receive blessings from various animal gods. The timid count\'s daughter Sophia Lila is rumored to be quite strong, having received the blessing from the \"Gorilla God.\" Although she wants a peaceful life, people seek her out due to immense power. Ultimately, she is scouted by the royal knights. The promising young knights intently follow Sophia, the strongest girl.
This one-shot originally appeared in 1975 as textless illustrations in the Japanese book (エッセイ集 微熱少年) which contains a collection of essays written by former Happy End member Takashi Matsumoto. In later re-releases of this one-shot, additional Japanese text would be added to some of the one-shot\'s pages.
