An average 26-year-old salaryman named Fumihiko Matsumaru had planned to take a girl to the movies, but she stood him up. Just as he was about to discard the tickets, a cute girl approached him and convinced him to make use of them. They proceeded to watch the movie and have dinner together, but when he walked her home, they discovered that her apartment was on fire. As a result, 20-year-old rookie seiyuu Aka Onda, who had nowhere else to go, moved in with Matsumaru. Despite encountering numerous obstacles, the two pursued a relationship that was more than a friendship but not yet romantic.
