Setsu Sawamura is a teenager skilled in playing the Shamisen, a traditional Japanese musical instrument that is similar to a guitar. His grandfather, a renowned Shamisen player, nurtured his talent while he was growing up with his older brother Wakana. Setsu's life turned bleak following his grandfather's demise, which prompted him to quit high school and hitchhike in Tokyo, with the exception of playing his beloved Shamisen.
