The general of the MagiCorps, Clari Nett, saved Shchel's life many years ago, and since then he's dreamed of being an elite mage like him. So he travels to Sforzando, the country of Magic, and enters the training academy for mages, the School of Magic. There he meets and befriends the aloof violinist Great, son of the Hero Hamel - who defeated the Great Demon King Chestra 20 years ago in the Northern War. As Shchel studies to become a mage, he also hides his own share of secrets. But how will Shchel survive magic school with so many rivals to compete against and so many enemies outside its walls?
