This is a manga based on the fourth chapter of Karate's novel, The Story of a Macaron-Loving Girl who Lived a Thousand Years Somehow. It all started when a little girl claiming to be from the Cicada Kingdom appeared on his doorstep... This story is a little bit warm, and a little bit painful. But most of all, it is a wonderful story.

My Little Monster targets the relationship between Shizuku Mizutani, who has a lad named Haru Yoshida, who sits next to Shizuku in course but seldom attends school and her strategies for the long run, as well as certainly no interests except in analyzing. After Shizuku is tasked with providing course printouts to Haru's house, she meets with Haru, who promptly greets her as a buddy, beginning their new connection. Nicknamed "dry ice," Shizuku is celebrated as a woman who's emotionless and cool. But when Haru was met by her his innocence and his insufficient knowledge towards human associations touched her. Haru is really tender and kind, though recognized as a violent and uncontrollable creature. It requires considerably more for Shizuku to understand and take her own emotions towards Haru, although Haru promptly declares his love towards Shizuku. Collectively, as 2 beings that are formerly unsocial, they help each other understand the best way to take care of others and make friends.
Story 01) Kakene Nashi no LOVE Torihiki (A Love Transaction without Overcharging): Since Ami Kirisawa's father passed away, she's had to make it on her own. Now she's built a reputation as an enterprising young woman who will do anything for money. However, when Ruka Hakomori (of the Hakomori Financial empire) makes assumptions about how much of Ami his money can buy, Ami fearlessly proves him wrong. Ruka decides he wants her to help him get out of a marriage interview, but opposing Ruka's ruthless parents isn't going to be easy, no matter how fearless Ami is. Story 02) Kokoro Goku Ama-jitate (Very Sweetly Cut Heart): Suzuko runs into Riki-kun while shopping for Valentine Chocolate. When he learns that she doesn't have a boyfriend, he asks her to give him chocolate that day. The two become close but will Riki-kun's fanclub grows jealous and will do everything they can to separate them. Will they succeed or will love triumph? Story 03) Kyokou Shinwa ~Sekando Reipu~ (Made-up Myth ~Second Rape~): This is a serious story about the effects of rape. Wakana is a shy and unspectacular girl who has been text messaging the spectacular Taku for three months. Suddenly, Taku suggests that they meet, and when they do... he rapes her. Wakana goes to the police, only to go through "second rape" -- the doubts of others who think she brought it on herself.

Two generations ago, Grandfather Ninomiya came up with an idea for an owl-shaped cake, but Grandfather Yamato quickly raised to the challenge and thought of a similar cake--but in Yamato's the owl had ears. Because they're priced the same, Yamato's extra ears were crucial, and that made the business of the Ninomiya confectionery suffered. Grandfather Ninomiya then fell ill worrying about his shop. Before his death, his last words were "I was killed by the Yamatos", and since that moment the two families have been sworn rivals.
