Happy and Natsu were in the midst of their quest when something unexpected happened. The sky suddenly displayed an old man's face, captivating both of them. Strangely enough, the old man expelled Natsu from his grasp but kept Happy trapped inside his mouth. Upon being released, Happy awoke in a strange new world where animals could talk. Detectives Bull informed him that neither magic nor humans existed in this world; it was a mere fantasy. Despite his attempts to return home, the locals mistakenly identified him as their leader, Lord Happy. The Elder Tortoise bore witness to a prophecy about a blue-haired animal with white wings who was destined to save their village. A Smile Heart was said to be of use to the hero, and Happy realised he must become the hero to use it to find his way home. He was not daunted by the challenges of a peaceful Animar and remained determined to reunite with his Fairy Tail crew. However, the process of completing the Smile Heart was not simple.
