In 1988 an enigmatic explosion which has happened in Venezuela caused some mysterious case called "Lost Life Phenomenon". Indiscriminate murder, mass destruction, vanishing of an entire city... Some who got involved in the case say they saw a giant... Fast forward to 1991 in Japan. This is a story about girls who end up piloting gigantic humanoid weapons called "JINKI" fighting against their fate. This manga started out in 2002 and had 9 volumes published, the "Complete Edition" came out in 2011 and had 3 'large' volumes instead, JUM will be doing the latter.
Souki Hiiragi was a normal small town boy whose only desire was to make cute girls happy. But one day at the beach he gets caught up in a giant robot fight! One robot attempts to defend him; this robot is the Jinki--which requires two operators to run properly. One operator sacrifices himself to save Souki, but now the other operator needs a partner! She being a cute girl, Souki steps up to the plate!
After a few years, the main character Jinguu Masato, returns home. Due to his nature, he loves animals and he also likes to visit them. Because of this, he loved to visit the zoo since he was small and that's how he developed a close relationship with Hanayo. However, Masato gradually starts to notice some strange incidents happening in the zoo and after that, he's thrown into this unexpected world...

The story drags us into the daily life of Mashiro, a handywoman, who takes care of helping the people of the village. One day, the Dominantor Empire invades the region and captures all the women to make them their slaves. When her friend dies before her eyes, Mashiro, mad with anger, manages to wake up the millennial robot who was secretly residing in the village. It is now her chance to stop the thirst for uncontrollable power of the Dominator Empire. Soon, she is joined by other mecha pilots in this crazy quest to oppose an entire Empire.
The basic story: a high school student (Nanase Hokuto) living away from his parents (who are in Australia) shares an apartment house with three older girls. His exposure to their whimsical and teasing nature leaves him pretty much despising females. However, the high-school idol (Taniyama Maina) ends up having a crush on him. Her best friend is Nakajima Atsumi, your typical sukeban. Hokuto's best friend, Moriyama Syuuichirou, is the young-punk biker. These two friends conspire to hook Hokuto up with Maina, much to Maina's delight and Hokuto's chagrin. Into this setting we interject the jealousy of the rest of the high school, a female rival for Hokuto's attention, a number of fights, the inevitable parents recalling Hokuto, and Maina threatening to run away from home.
