Sixteen years after the completion of Getter Robo, Ken Ishikawa revived the series with Getter Robo Go. This series, and all after until Ishikawa's death, are done without Go Nagai(he is still credited as original creator). Years after the events of Getter Robo/Shin Getter Robo, Hayato Jin is the leader of NISAR; a private owned research and weapons development organization based in Japan. He, and Professor Tachibana, have been developing various weapons and building up their forces to deal with a threat that started fifteen years ago: the mad scientist Rando. When Rando's forces begin their terrorist operations around the world, NISAR begins its search for exceptional soldiers to pilot their super weapon, the Getter Robo.

The manga also details how Shishio formed the Juppongatana, his organization of warriors and assassins that he recruits in an attempt to overthrow the Japanese government in the original Rurouni Kenshin manga.
A group of 15 elite high-school students are gathered at a very special, high-class high school. To graduate from this high school essentially means you'll succeed in life, but graduating is very difficult. The school is presided over by a bear called Monokuma, and he explains to them that their graduation hinges around committing a murder. The only way to graduate is to kill one of your classmates and get away with it. If the other classmates discover the identity of the killer, the killer is the only one executed. However, if they fail to catch the killer, only the killer graduates and the others are annihilated. Which of the 15 will survive the bloodbath to come?
(Summary from here): Wakamatsu Masato lives with his step-sister, Miyuki, whom he does not have blood relationship with. Their father is always working oversea (in fact, he has not appeared in the manga at all...) and left the two of them living by themselves in Toukyou. Miyuki is cute, nice, sensitive and very popular among guys around Masato. Masato has a girlfriend at school whose name is Kajima Miyuki, who is pretty and gentle, the ideal dream of every high school boy. It took years for Masato and his sister to realize whom they love and care most after a lot of events. The manga is very nicely written, with excellent layout, interesting story and character developments, refreshing art style and filled with youth and emotion. It also shows the dramatic improvement of the author's skill.
