One day, Soujiro Sakagami, a high school sophomore, was running late for school. Luckily, a strange girl who looked like a third-year offered to give him a ride. Even though the girls hold opposing views and cannot interact, they fall in love and date secretly. As their relationship strengthens, external factors risk tearing them apart. The daughters of Chayama's parents' employees bully her, while Mizuno struggles to maintain a façade to help her father's campaign. In the midst of these challenges, the girls discover solace in each other and vow to overcome every obstacle to stay together, no matter how antagonistic their hometown treats them.

However, during his coming-of-age ceremony, which grants magical abilities to the celebrant, he receives a seemingly worthless "cup" that only produces water.
